Today i began researching Porcelain berry vine: Botanical name (get ya tongue around this one!…)Â Ampelopsis brevipedunculata. The Porcelain vine is part of the grapevine family and prefers a humid climate with cool winters.. The small berries are vivid turquoise and are really exquisite. They start green, and change to turquoise, purple, blue, and lilac.Â
I think with Easter on my mind this week  and after buying fresh quail eggs i really noticed how lovely and speckled the vine would look for an easter setting.(oooh styled amongst the Pashka .. my favourite! Although the berries look inviting, they are inedible. ) So further in my research i came across Murre Eggs. The Murre sea bird is found in and around Arctic waters. Their eggs vary in colour and pattern to help the parents recognise them, each egg’s pattern being unique. Colours include white, green, blue or brown with spots or speckles in black or lilac.  What a co-incidence of similarity! Nature you have done it again.

Possibly the greenest space in California, the Smog Shoppe is 100% solar powered  urban oasis event space. Indoor/Outdoor entertaining haven with desert plants, vertical walls, vintage interiors and furnishings. Looks like a nice spot for a wedding….
Patrick Blanc as we know is a botanist and  THE creator of the vertical wall garden and his concept has taken off all over the world.
You can now buy  DIY vertical garden kits (perfect for keeping out the rabbits… story of my life!! ) try  these guys …Woolly Pocket Gardens . The great thing is no matter what space you have you can creative your own living masterpiece. Heck! put one in your Bathroom and you’ll feel like your in Bali!!!  (actually …how lovely! )”Besides removing air pollutants, plants can also add moisture to a room. Before you go out and buy a big, plastic humidifier, try introducing the Areca Palm into your home, it’s known to release a ton of moisture into the air.”- Woolly Pocket.
